The Broad Street Peaux Boys menu SOMETIMES consists of a few of the standard po’boy offerings such as The Parkway (overstuffed with fried shrimp), The Acme (overstuffed with fried shrimp and oyster, and a Tabasco infused mayo), The Jean (hot sausage patty), The Southern (golden fried green tomatoes, creole pimento cheese, red onion, and remoulade sauce) in addition to many offerings that include The Cassie (choice of golden fried buffalo shrimp or oysters tossed in buffalo sauce, topped with red onion and blue cheese crumbles), The Biggie (slow roasted roast beef, topped with golden fried BBQ shrimp, red onion and horseradish cream on the side), The Hollett (slow roasted roast beef soaked in savory brown gravy), and many more offerings that are sure to spike your taste buds. They also feature the General Lee (crawfish grilled cheese sammich) that has been a sought after favorite at The Boxcar at Railroad Park each and every Monday.
Caulfield, a native of New Orleans, was raised in Birmingham and is a graduate of John Carroll Catholic High School and the Xavier University of Louisiana. She came back to Birmingham in 2007 to finish her law school career and ventured into entrepreneurship ventures in 2008. With Broad Street, she’s partnered with longtime friend and collaborator, Damon Treadwell.
